Pure titanium plate can be divided into hot rolled, forged and drawn. The specifications of hot rolled titanium plate is 5.5-250 mm. Small pure titanium plates with 5.5-25 mm are mostly supplied in a bundle of straight line, and commonly used as titanium alloy, bolts and a variety of mechanical parts. More than 25 mm of pure titanium plate mainly used for the manufacturing of mechanical parts or as a seamless titanium tube blank.

The difference between pure titanium plate and other titanium alloys:
1. The exterior is not the same, the shape of pure titanium plate is light and round, no lines, no rib, other titanium alloy surface appearance have engraved lines or rib. In this way, the bonding strength of pure titanium plate and concrete is small, and the bond strength between other titanium alloy and concrete is large.
2. Composition is not the same, pure titanium plate (gr1 titanium) belongs to common low carbon titanium, and other titanium alloy belongs to alloy titanium.
3. The strength is not the same, the strength of pure titanium plate is low, and the strength of other titanium is high, that is, compared with other titanium alloy, the pure titanium plate with same diameter can bear the smaller tension. But the plasticity of pure titanium plate is stronger than that of other titanium alloy,that is, pure titanium plate has large deformation before the break , and the deformation of other titanium alloy is much smaller before breaking.
4. The physical and mechanical properties are different. Due to the different chemical composition and strength of titanium alloy, the physical and mechanical properties are different. The bending performance of pure titanium plate is good, it can be used as a 180 degree bend hook, thread titanium can only be used as 90 degree straight hook. The titanium plate can be welded well and can be used with ordinary carbon electrode. The screw thread titanium must use the low alloy welding rod. The screw thread titanium is better than pure titanium in toughness and fatigue resistance.
