Joining of High Density Alloys

High density alloys can be joined to themselves or to other metals either by soldering or, more preferably, by brazing. Copper, copper-nickel and silver brazes are mainly used.

Mechanical joints by shrink fitting or by threading are possible. High density alloys parts not subjected to thermal stresses can be joined with thermosetting resins. Excellent connections between high density alloys parts and steel can also be obtained by friction welding.

High density alloys are available in many configurations and sizes. Blanks or finished parts can also be manufactured to drawings supplied by customers.

The porous ratio of high density alloys is generally smaller than 5%, so high density alloys belong to no water absorption products. Cemented carbide is generally used as small component with high density.

Cemented carbide is one of materials with high hardness and it is made of refractory metal carbide compounds and binder metals by powder metallurgy.

Tungsten and molybdenum manufacturer-Zhengzhou Sanhui Co., Ltd has been dealing the export of refractory metals for over 24 years, like tungsten, nickel, titanium and other metals. Here, we offer comprehensive metal products and dedicated service. We are looking forward to cooperating with you.
