Manufacturing process of TZM molybdenum alloy:

TZM molybdenum alloy

can be made by Arc melting - casting method or powder metallurgic method. TZM molybdenum alloy can be processed into bar or plate.

TZM molybdenum alloy applications:
TZM molybdenum alloy is used for jet tube of flying vehicle and a variety of components of high inlet temperature, high pressure turbine engine, such as hot gas seals and valves, turbine wheels or wheel blades.

Characteristics of TZM molybdenum alloy:
Compared with pure molybdenum, TZM molybdenum alloy has higher recrystallization temperature (about 1300℃), high temperature creep strength, high temperature tensile strength.

TZM molybdenum alloy has excellent high temperature strength, high recrystallization temperature, good thermal conductivity and good resistance to rapidly varied temperatures.

Element Ti Zr C Mo
Content, % 0.40-0.50 0.08-0.12 0.01-0.04 balance
