What types of corrosion of titanium tubes are included

The corrosion forms of titanium tubes include two types of overall corrosion and local corrosion. Overall corrosion is the form of comprehensive and uniform corrosion. Local corrosion is relative to overall corrosion, the local corrosion morphology can be divided into crevice corrosion, pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, galvanic corrosion, abrasion, hydrogen and hydrogen embrittlement.

1.crevice corrosion: The corrosion phenomenon occurred in the flange or the hem and deposits and generally occurred in the narrow gap.

2.pitting corrosion: Under the presence of halogen ions, corrosion phenomenon is caused.

3.stress corrosion cracking: In a particular environment, due to the effect of tensile stress, a kind of brittle failure is produced.

4.abrasion: Due to the mechanical action of the fluid, the electrochemical corrosion is promoted.

5.galvanic corrosion: Also known as dissimilar metal contact corrosion, which is in the electric short circuit condition to promote the low potential metal to have the phenomenon of corrosion.

6.Hydrogen and hydrogen embrittlement: taking out the hydrogen from the material, when the solution limit amount exceeds the material, the brittle hydride will be formed to produce the hydrogen embrittlement phenomenon.
